ALS, 1926 November 19 : London, to Herbert Brenon.

Written to the film producer of Wren's book "Beau Geste," Wren first questions who might be cast in the role of deBeaujolais, then in the dated letter of 11/19/1926, he applauds the completed film in glowing terms. In part he says: "It is a great answer to the critics who say that nothing non-American can come of American production, & that all American films must glorify Americans and American institutions while casting ridicule & contempt upon those of other countries. Includes small black and white photo of Wren, signed twice by him.
